Australia’s leading shutdown support specialist is currently seeking highly motivated candidates to fill positions as Shutdown and Project Supervisors. You will assist us with running shutdowns & projects on some of WA’s largest and most well-known mine sites. This is an excellent opportunity to further your career in the booming WA resources sector and gain experience from a well-established, reputable business.

Duties:

  • Ensure the delivery of a safe, and efficient shutdown
  • Managing and coordinating front line contractor supervisors and ensuring their teams are aligning with the safe work systems
  • Checking compliance to the schedule and identifying at risk areas with the scheduler
  • Ensure key milestones for each shift are met and communicated through to the Contract Supervisors
  • Prepare and communicate a detailed end of shift handover

Requirements:

  • Current C – Class driver’s license
  • Relevant trade qualifications/licences
  • Current CSE/WAH/GTA qualifications or willing to complete
  • S26 qualified
  • Current NPC
  • Strong experience managing fixed plant shutdowns or running projects in a mining environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A firm commitment to safety
  • Fit and Healthy and able to complete Pre-Employment Medical and Drug Screening
