SSS is seeking experienced and motivated Shutdown Planners & Schedulers to join an upcoming project with a major WA mining client.
If you have a strong background in fixed plant maintenance, complex shutdown scheduling and backfill planning, this is an opportunity to work with a specialist shutdown business supporting major mining operations across WA.

THE ROLE
As a Shutdown Planner & Scheduler, you’ll play a key role in ensuring shutdown and maintenance activities are effectively planned, scheduled and coordinated.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Shutdown scheduling & backfill planning
- Developing and maintaining quality Gantt schedules
- Coordinating resources, vendors and execution teams
- Managing resource allocations and scheduling requirements
- Working closely with execution teams to ensure alignment
- Monitoring project scope, timelines and budgets
- Supporting safe, efficient and on-time project delivery
- Maintaining strong communication with key stakeholders
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Proven experience in shutdown planning / scheduling
- Strong fixed plant maintenance experience
- Experience with complex shutdowns and backfill planning
- Strong Gantt and scheduling skills
- Experience with SAP and scheduling software
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills
- Understanding of project scope, budgets and timelines
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced shutdown environment
