About the Role
Working across fixed plant mining environments, you will supervise electrical work groups during shutdowns, projects and maintenance campaigns. You will help ensure work is planned, coordinated and executed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

You will liaise with client representatives, planners, schedulers, contractors and site leadership teams to coordinate work fronts, manage priorities and support safe, compliant delivery in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical crews during shutdown and project execution
• Drive safe work practices, permit compliance and field leadership expectations
• Coordinate daily electrical work fronts, priorities and labour requirements
• Monitor progress against schedule and escalate execution risks early
• Support quality outcomes across installation, inspection, testing and commissioning activities
• Liaise with maintenance, operations, planners and client representatives
• Provide clear shift reporting, handovers and progress updates
• Coach and support tradespeople, leading hands and contractor work groups
• Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity and execution performance

About You
You are an experienced Electrical Supervisor with a strong background in mining, fixed plant maintenance, shutdowns or project delivery. You are confident leading crews in the field and understand the importance of safety, quality, communication and schedule discipline.

• Electrical trade qualification and relevant electrical supervision experience
• Experience supervising electrical works in mining, shutdown, maintenance or project environments
• WA Electrical Licence or ability to meet site electrical requirements where applicable
• Section 26 qualification
• Current C-Class Driver’s Licence
• National Police Clearance
• Current CPR/LVR, CSE, WAH and Gas Testing qualifications, or willingness to obtain
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• A demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and compliance
• The ability to build strong working relationships with clients, planners and site crews

Highly Regarded

• Experience on BHP, Rio Tinto, FMG or HIO operations
• Electrical shutdown, fixed plant or sustaining capital project experience
• HV, instrumentation, E&I, commissioning or testing exposure
• Contractor management experience
• Planning, scheduling or work management exposure
